Best Western Plus Ottawa City Centre

First time at a Best Western in Ottawa and found the location perfect for our purposes. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room really clean and comfortable and the cafe 1274 downstairs served delicious food and wine. The servers were really great and didn’t rush us through our meal. Made good conversation and were attentive. We had breakfast fast there as well and Lauren was supper great. Raymond made an appearance and greeted us which was a plus. He a So owns the restaurant and is very proud of his staff and the food he prepares. We will go again for sure. Just a perfect combination for a hotel .

I came for 1 night with our son at university. I was upgraded to a beautiful room. I felt like a queen. Fireplace, soaker tub, king bed. The room is well done and the restaurant has lots of choices. I will be back next time. Thank you to Sherry for a beautiful reception. Your smile brightened my day.

The front desk staff was extremely professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. He made check-in smooth and answered all our questions patiently. Truly appreciated his kindness and efficiency.

I highly recommend Best Western Plus. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and very clean. Wifi is included. Breakast at the Cafe was delicious and the portions are huge. There's a gym and pool, however, the pool is outside for summer time use. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Lots of shopping within walking distance. My experience was great!

Nice hotel, modern room comfortable bed. The location was handy for my business travel in it's central location and proximity to the 417. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed, the elevator broke down during my stay but it was repaired quickly. My only complaint is that the access to my room was through the main lobby and it was a fair walk from my room to my car.

Great and helpful staff. Meals excellent. Room was very clean and had all new furniture. We would definitely stay here again if we were coming to Ottawa. One issue: The Keurig coffee maker power cord is not long enough to go through the cabinet to the outlet, so the coffee maker has to be moved elsewhere to plug it in—what if the coffee maker is dropped and broken. All that would be needed is for housekeeping to add an extension cord to the Keurig cord so that it can be plugged into the wall.

We had a great stay here recently, we loved the size of the room, it was quiet, clean, and parking was great. The free water bottles were a nice touch, I dislike paying for water in a hotel. We also liked its proximity to the highway. The only small negative, we had planned to eat at the cafe, and it was so basic we ended up driving elsewhere.

Had an excellent stay here. Room was very clean and modern (no carpets). Staff were friendly and quick check-in experience. Nice complimentary coffee machine in the lobby. On-site restaurant was good and the $12 breakfast vouchers were well worth it. Wonderful stay and great value.
